If you’ve been keeping up with this blog, you know about the Community Christmas Pageant coming up on the 15th. Many of you have been praying as we prepare to share the truth of Christmas with the people of Spirit Lake Nation. We believe that the Lord has opened doors and given us an amazing opportunity to share. We also believe that He wants to do some amazing things in the hearts of the people here.
It is no secret that we also have an enemy who wants nothing more than to steal, kill, and destroy those amazing things. He wants to keep the truth silent. He was working overtime this afternoon at our dress-rehearsal and the program was dangerously close to being cancelled all-together. After some thinking, talking, and an abundance of God’s grace, we decided to go ahead with a revised version of the program.
Due to the changes, I’ve very willingly ended up with some new responsibilties to help make this program a reality. The kids are still excited. I’m still excited, too. In fact, in many ways, the increase of adversity and spiritual attack makes me more excited…the “rulers of the darkness of this world” must be very afraid of what the Lord has coming!
We need your prayers, dear warriors! Please pray fervently as we make adjustments, rearrange, and continue our preparations for Saturday…we have a lot of work to do this week! Pray that the Holy Spirit would cover all of our efforts and make something beautiful out of our humble offerings. Our heart, our purpose, our first priority is to share the truth of Jesus Christ and point others to Him.
It’s all about Him. It’s all for Him. It’s all because of Him.
