I'm writing tonight with a couple of quick prayer requests...

Darla (Pastor Larry's wife) and her sisters asked if I would be willing to help with music at their brother's funeral last week.  It was an honor to be a part of that and to have the opportunity to share truth through song.  Although I did not know Faron (Darla's brother) personally, I have heard some beautiful stories of his life, his struggles, and his faith.  Faron trusted Jesus Christ as his Savior, so we rejoice in his going Home.  Please keep Darla and the rest of Faron's family in your prayers as they adjust to life here without him.  My silent prayer at the funeral on Thursday morning was that the Lord would use Faron's life and testimony to speak truth and draw people to Christ...please join me and make this your prayer!

Faron was an uncle to several of my Tokio youth group boys, so another special part of the funeral was hugging those boys and catching up with them a bit.  I will continue to remind them about Wednesdays and trust the Lord to bring them back in His time.  Please pray that the Lord would stir in their hearts and bring them back soon!
