I'm trying to be more faithful with my blogs, so here's another quick update! :)

 

This past Wednesday it was just me and a couple of the girls for Bible study at Tokio.  One of the girls (Shawnee) is a "regular" and the other was a friend of her's who was there for the first time.  I first met Shawnee a few years ago when she was a camper at FaHoCha.  Part of the program at camp is memorizing Bible verses, so Shawnee spent part of Wednesday saying verses to me that she remembered from camp . . . it was so great!  We spent the evening eating pizza, listening to Chris Tomlin, and looking up Bible verses.  And if that wasn't cool enough, Shawnee told me that she wants to start a prayer group at school!  Pray that the Lord would work that out and that He would strengthen Shawnee's faith and keep her close to Him.  I believe that He is working in her and through her! 

Last night was the big boys basketball game between Four Winds and Warwick.  A couple of the Tokio youth group guys play for Warwick, so I got to see them play and cheer for them.  This game was a pretty big deal here on the rez, so I got to catch up with lots of people (including more of the Tokio youth group crew) and give some hugs.  I'm really asking the Lord to create opportunities through these connections.  Please pray that the Lord would cause relationships to develop and give opportunities to share Him through those relationships.
