Another storm yesterday has caused more shifting of plans…which I don’t mind…

I headed to Four Winds on Tuesday night for the last home basketball game, only to get there and find out that the game had been rescheduled to Wednesday afternoon.  I turned around, headed back to Oberon, and spent the evening with the Stenslands and some of their friends from Bible study.  We had a great evening of music, sharing, and prayer.

Due to the storm yesterday, most afternoon and evening activities in the area were cancelled…including the rescheduled Four Winds game and our Youth Group at Tokio.  The Four Winds game has been rescheduled again, this time for Monday, and hopefully we’ll all be able to get to Tokio next Wednesday for Bible Study.

Today is a big day at school with cards, candy, pink, and red everywhere.  As I thought about Valentine’s Day and handed out Blow Pops to the kids, I asked the Lord to show them His love.  I am thankful today for the perfect and unfailing love of Christ, the love that is my true joy and peace.  Please pray that the people of Spirit Lake Nation would know that love…

Happy Valentine’s Day!

  1. Glanced at your picture (above left) just now. Am I imagining this or are you starting to look Lakota?
