It is evident that the Lord is moving . . . it's almost like a spiritual electricity in the air, a sense that something big is on the way, a movement or shifting in the spiritual realm.  Recently, as I have visited with others who know the Lord and have a heart for the people of Spirit Lake Nation, I have heard a common theme:  The Lord is doing something.  Something big.  And this is only the beginning.

Here are some of the opportunities that have just come up:

Radio Waves--The radio station on the reservation (KABU 90.7) has 4 hours of open time on Sunday mornings.  They are looking for people to fill that time and Jeff, a local pastor, approached me about doing something geared towards the youth.  This Thursday I am going to the station to put together an hour of Christian music for the youth.  Along with Pastor Jeff's sermon (and some other local Christian programming), the music will be broadcast  during the open hours on Sunday.  This is an incredible opportunity to reach people all over the reservation with the words and truth of Christ!  Please pray that the Lord will guide our words and that His Spirit would speak through the words of the songs!

Youth Service Projects--After church this past Sunday, Pastor Larry and I were visiting about the different mission teams that will be coming to Spirit Lake this summer.  During the course of that conversation, I shared my vision to get the Tokio Youth Group involved with a missions trip and/or service project.  We discussed a few different ideas and have some really neat options for the not-too-distant future!  Please pray that the Lord would put this on the hearts of the youth group kids and that He will open doors where He wants us to be involved.

I believe that the spiritual rumblings here are a direct result of the prayers of God's people.  Thank you, dear Warriors, for joining us in this fight (Ephesians 6) . . . please continue to pray!
