I drove to the Dakota Baptist Church in Fort Totten last night and sat in on a planning meeting for the upcoming community Christmas program.  Pastor Larry (from the Tokio church where I'm helping) sent out letters to all of the churches on the Spirit Lake Reservation earlier this fall, hoping to spark some interest in a joint Christmas program.  Several of the churches have expressed interest and the planning has officially begun!  Those at the planning meeting last night all share a vision for this program to be an outreach and an opportunity to come together and share the truth of Jesus.  Someone at the meeting last night commented that for years, people have been praying for leaders to be raised up on the reservation and those leaders are finally being put in place.  I continue to be so thankful and humbled to be a part of what the Lord is doing here!  Please pray that the Lord will be the Center of our planning, practicing, and performing.  We want people to see Him.

If you're interested in seeing this in person, please come!  The program will be held on Saturday, December 15 at 2:00pm in the auditorium at the Four Winds High School.  So far, my duties are to help with music and help organize the kids.  :)

Tonight I'll be with the youth at Tokio.  In an attempt to get the kids to the church (and keep them off the streets!) on Halloween, we decided to have a pizza/movie night.  They all assured me that I wouldn't be eating pizza alone! :)  I'm trusting the Holy Spirit to bring them, speak to them, and protect them.

Thanks for your support and prayers!
