It's the first official day of camp here at FaHoCha! We have 42 Junior High campers here for our first camp of the summer and we're busy getting back into the camp groove...
I am especially encouraged already by a group of Native girls who are here this week. They've been here for less than 24 hours, but they already seem to feel comfortable and to be enjoying their time here. Last night was the first evening service and several of them came forward to give their lives to the Lord! Please pray for these young ladies...ask the Lord to continue to pursue them and reveal Himself to them. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide them and protect them spiritually.
As I visited with some of these girls today, I was so thankful to think about the opportunities that I will have during the upcoming year to see them at basketball games (the girl on the far right has a brother who plays at Four Winds) and at other community events on the reservation. Please ask the Lord to use these connections for their spiritual growth and for His glory!
