It’s the first official day of camp here at FaHoCha! We have 42 Junior High campers here for our first camp of the summer and we’re busy getting back into the camp groove…
I am especially encouraged already by a group of Native girls who are here this week. They’ve been here for less than 24 hours, but they already seem to feel comfortable and to be enjoying their time here. Last night was the first evening service and several of them came forward to give their lives to the Lord! Please pray for these young ladies…ask the Lord to continue to pursue them and reveal Himself to them. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide them and protect them spiritually.
As I visited with some of these girls today, I was so thankful to think about the opportunities that I will have during the upcoming year to see them at basketball games (the girl on the far right has a brother who plays at Four Winds) and at other community events on the reservation. Please ask the Lord to use these connections for their spiritual growth and for His glory!
Thanks for the updates. They really encourage me to pray and I do pray for those you mention and for you. We serve a God who answers prayers and it’s so exciting to be a part of that.
Be encouraged in the Lord’s work. He is using you to bring Him glory.
I have been thinking about you guys alot since I know camp has started! How exciting!
Even though I am around 7 or 8 hours different in time, I try to figure out what time it is there and pray for whatever I assume you are doing…though I could be way off.
Thanks for the updates, I appreciate it so much. Please tell everyone hello and that I’m praying for them!
Glad you are finding time for updates, I’ve been praying more intentionally after being on the camp grounds! May God continue to guide and direct! Love ya!
