Greetings from FaHoCha!  I’m officially here and we’re busy getting ready for camp life to begin, starting on Monday morning with a week of counselor training.  This past week has literally been a flurry of activity, so I thought pictures would do a better job of telling the story this time…

The kids from the school came out to camp for a Field Day earlier this week.  We played games (egg drop above and 3-legged race below), grilled hamburgers, and the kids got a feel for camp.  Many of them showed an interest in coming to camp this summer.  Please ask the Lord to pave the way for them to get here!

Our last Wednesday night at Tokio before summer break was spent eating pizza, making s’mores (some for the first time!), taking pictures, and talking and laughing around the campfire.  We also read from James about the importance of putting our faith into action.  Please pray that these youth would remember what they have learned and that the Holy Spirit would give them courage to live out their faith!

Friday was our last day of school, complete with a Kindergarten graduation (graduates above) and an awards program.  I am incredibly thankful for the relationships that have been built during the school year…I love these kids!  Please ask the Holy Spirit to protect these precious young lives and speak His truth to their hearts.

  1. Hi Noarmi,
It is exciting to see how God is at work on the reservation. Thank you for all the time you put into your e-mails that we can pray more effectively. Hope to see you at Camp FaHoCha this summer. My prayers go with you.
